What kind of disc do I need to create a Recovery Disc Set?

My sistem is asking me to create a recovery disc ,I put a HP DVD+R 16x but it says It's the wrong disc" PLEASE INSERT ANOTHER"

You probably have a CD-R/RW + DVD-ROM drive. You will need a CD-R to make the Recovery Disk Set. Also, If anything like what I needed for my Compaq (owned by HP) it will take 11 CD-R's to make the set.

    What sort of Recovery Disk are you trying to make..If it is for AVG you cause a USB or a Floppy Disk to make it but with Floppy you wll need at least 4 of them to do it. If that is what the question is about..or for any other Anti virus program
