I need to reformat but my computer doesnt read my recovery disc. Any suggestions>?

Im needing to re-format my computer but when I put in my recovery disc. it says that im inserting the wrong disc. I know that it is the right one. What can I do? How can I re-format?

That happened to me before. Just contact your computer manufacturer and they'll send you recovery disks for free ( 3-5 Business days ). I have an Acer and thats what happened, I ordered new ones and the new ones worked.

    some pc's have two discs to recover them.does your disc say "CD 1 of 2 or CD 2 of 2" on it? if so you need to find the other.

    by getting a new cd or a normal windows installation cd or installing real operating system like linux/BSD
