I bought an Avent PC from PC World. It gives a message that I need to make a recovery disc and asks me to start the process keeping some blank DVDs handy. I get to do this only once , and therefore need to get it right the first time. I normally do not use dvd disks , so want to know how many should I have ready ? Cant I use CDs instead , becuase i have quite a few blank ones.Any advice will be welcome ..

you will probably need 3 at the most, i have made alot of these when i set up comps for other people some use 2 but most use 3, dont use cd's it will take about 10 to 12 or more

It took me 1 dvd, but it depends on what type of computer you have (i have packard bell) and the size of your DVD.
as far as i know they only take DVDs… <— best answer =]
