Can I use another brands recovery disc on my Toshiba?

I recently aquired a Toshiba that needs some help, and I'd like to just take it back to the orginal settings – but I have no recovery disc. I do have a recovery disc for an E-Machine – will it work?

No, each recovery cd is for the machine it came with. It has the drivers for your e machine and other settings. Unless, it is just a regular XP Pro or Home installation cd.
